Santa Clause Is Coming To Town!!

Saturday morning at 10am, Santa Clause came to town! He rode in on what else, but a fire truck! Brayden was so excited and told us that he was going to ask Santa for a gun game. (I'm not quite sure...but I think he is talking about Nerf tag?) When Santa approached him, he jumped right in a shell I didn't even know he had! We rarely see our son be shy! He wasn't too shy to run up and get his gift from him, though! Santa gave him a pretty neat wooden train and track set.

Playing Cars

Friday night, I noticed something I haven't heard in a long time....silence! haha So...I had to investigate. What I found was so sweet....Brayden and Daddy had all the cars and trucks of all sizes parked in different areas of the room and were playing. There favorite thing to do is play cars...and if any of you know Jeremy, this is NO surprise!

Making Cookies!

Funny Face..what a nerd....haha!

Homemade Christmas cookies...fun and yummy! The last two nights have been spent making cookies. Last night we made the dough, it had to spend the night in the refrigerator. Tonight we cut them out, baked them, frosted them, and decorated them! Brayden had a lot of fun decorating the cookies....just about every cookie he decorated he ate....haha! Daddy didn't get to help us decorate tonight because he had to work :( ...but we have plenty of dough left to make more! Brayden has been checking on the cookies....more like staring at them and licking his lips!

Swimming with the Porters!

Last week the Doty's and Porter's decided to get together for some fun time in the pool! Above are our kids, Paytin and Avery and Brayden.

Swimming at the Rec Center

The other day we decided to go swimming at the Ida Grove Rec Center. We had so much fun we decided to make it a usual thing to do. This is a picture of Brayden last night anxiously waiting to go swimming.

Happy Halloween

This year Brayden was a horse for Halloween. My mom and I made the costume and he loved it! We thought he looked pretty cute, too. He had so much fun trick-or-treating and it was a beautiful night.

Juno

In August we went to the Siouxland Humane Society and picked out a new member to our family! Her name is Juno. Brayden loves her....she is trying to love him..... I think he scared her when she first came here so she spends a lot of time hiding. Here are a few pictures of Brayden lovin' on her!
